The RBAV-05 is a BALCS Cut version of the popular Paraclete RAV. The RBAV-05 includes our EXACT MATCH webbing and tape technology. Paraclete's RBAV is designed to fit standard SAPI or E-SAPI plates as well as including built in side plate pockets for 6" X 6" Stealth or Heavy hard plates. Virtually every inch of the vest is covered by Paraclete "Exact Match" webbing. The “Exact Match" Patent Pending system allows us to exactly match the colors of webbings and tapes used on the vest to the base material color of the vest. In addition, this process allows us to have multi-color camouflage webbing.

The hook & loop closure allows rapid access to the internal armor plate pockets and the soft armor package. The cut away pillow can be placed on either side of the vest. The zip off back panel allows the user to easily change the configuration of the back of the vest. The drag strap is sewn the full length of the vest. Internal and external cummerbunds are fully adjustable. Furthermore, the external cummerbund is secured in the front of the vest by a heavy-duty # 10 YKK zipper with an additional two snaps to prevent the cummerbund from sagging under the weight of the pockets. Shoulder areas have drink tube and communication channels located on each shoulder.
