The AN/PVS-14 night vision monocular has become the standard night vision device for US forces. The NVS AN/PVS-14 is designed for use by the individual in a variety of ground-based operations. It features the superior performance of Gen 3 image intensifier tube with a variable gain control to achieve an optimum balance in the images seen by both eyes. The visual flexibility enables the user to move quietly and effectively under all night conditions. The AA battery operation provides over 40 hours of continuous use.
