The Crew Served Thermal Weapon Sight II(CSTWS) or "Heavy TWS"
utilizes market preferred Vanadium Oxide (VOx) microbolometer thermal
imaging technology. The sight offers a 640 x 480 resolution and 25
micron pitch. It also features menu-based, push-button controls for
operating reticle selection and adjustment as well as adjusting
polarity and brightness to facilitate use in all conditions. The Heavy
Thermal Weapon Sight is 4 pounds 3 ounces and has a wide field of view
of 2470 meters and a narrow field of view of 3150 meters.
It features 3X e-zoom and interfaces with a 103 mm lens.
