The Redi-mag® has provided lightning-fast reload capabilities to elite professionals for years but as carbine weights have crept up with the addition of optics, lights, lasers, etc., some shooters have discarded the enhanced speed of the Redi-mag® simply to get weight off. Blue Force Gear's exclusive Redi-mod modification minimizes the weight penalty. We start with the patented Boonie Packer Redi-mag II Quick Attach version and CNC machine away all non-essential areas to achieve a 25% weight reduction! Also, we melt all the sharp corners off the mag catch before Parkerizing and assembly. An added benefit of our Redi-mod TM is a better view of the magwell for right handed shooters during reloads. This Redi-mag II has an independent mag catch for use by right or left handed shooters. These features allow the shooter to effectively clear bolt-over-base malfunctions. Quick-attach capability allows attachment or removal from issue weapons in minutes. Includes wrench and fits all M4 Carbines and M16/AR15 rifles.
